The 25th of May, 2025, marks the 62nd annual commemoration of the African Liberation Day, intertwining with the origins of the African Freedom Day that originated in 1958 at the inaugural meeting of Independent African States. On this significant day, Africans worldwide honour the remarkable efforts and sacrifices made for our freedom and independence from European colonialism by our gallant freedom fighters.
